Petrida is a free resource. To keep it free, we earn money two ways:

1. Affiliate commissions

Some links on this site are affiliate links to pet insurance providers and other pet products. If you click one of those links and buy a policy or product, the company pays us a commission. You pay nothing extra. The price you see is the same price you would get going to the company directly.

In line with FTC guidelines (16 CFR Part 255), we mark pages that contain affiliate links with a disclosure notice near the top of the page, and outbound affiliate links use the "sponsored" attribute.

2. Display advertising

We show display ads served by third-party ad networks. Advertisers do not see your personal information from us, and ad placements do not influence our editorial content.

What commissions do not buy

• Rankings. We compare plans on coverage, exclusions, waiting periods, reimbursement rates, and price.
• Review conclusions. If a product underperforms, we say so, commission or not.
• Silence. We publish the drawbacks and fine print of every product we cover, including the ones that pay us.

Our promise

If you ever feel a recommendation on this site exists only because of a commission, tell us. We would rather lose a commission than lose your trust.
